My daughter was born with her three middle toes on her left foot mis-formed. A pediatrician who saw her in the hospital suggested it might be as a result of amniotic banding where a part of the sac cuts off circulation to the area affected. They are setting up appointments for us with a genetics specialist; I suppose to rule out any other genetic abnormalities. However I am most concerned about her balance and future ability to walk. Is there another specialist we should see or do you know of any other resources I may contact for further information? Any guidance you could provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
