SpottingFrom: Rebecca (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 29 Apr 2000 16:36:14 -0500 (CDT)
My last period started on April 6th, with spotting off and on for a couple of days before that. I ovulated on 19 April. I started having cramps and low back pain 7 days later (26 April). Last night (28 April) I started spotting and it has continued, along with cramping. I had received some advice from a nurse midwife that I could be cramping because I have a retroverted uterus and cramping often occurs with implantation when one has a retroverted uterus. Is this true? Also, I am worried about the spotting if this is the start of my period. I shouldn't be having 21 day cycles where I ovulate on the 13th day. I know I have to be trying to conceive for a year before I make an appt with my OB/GYN to talk about infertility. I have only been trying for 3 months and I am 29 years old. Is this a hormone imbalance or could it be pregnancy? I am a nurse and I work in a family practice clinic and I could have one of my doctors order blood work for me. Good idea? My last cycle was 25 days. I am miserable with the cramping and this is totally abnormal for me. Help, please?
