There are many compounds in marijuana, some of which may be carcinogens. THC can cause birth defects in animals, although there are no studies showing an increase in birth defects in humans My feeling on legal or illegal drug use in pregnancy -- why take the risk, however small, of exposing an innocent baby to any substance which is not absolutely medically necessary?
