Breathing trouble

Hi

At 21 weeks, I am having severe trouble breathing. Every 10 seconds or so I have to take a deep breath. I have a slight cough....but its hardly there. The doctor has prescribed me 250mg of phyllocontin twice a day and erythromycin 500mg 3 times a day. They think I have a chest infection. The thing is....I started these meds on Tuesday (it is now friday evening here) and I still cannot see any improvement. I am so frustrated not being able to breathe not to mention scared. The baby is ok...as far as I can tell....he/she is moving about. My question is.....does this sound normal...surely I should be having some improvement by now. I am reluctant to go back to the doc as he originally told me it was caused by the baby and the hospital said a chest infection. The thoughts of another holiday weekend here not being able to breathe like last weekend is so disheartening

Thanks

Janice
