If you didn't need any Pitocin, my guess is that your body and cervix were ready for the delivery-which truly makes the difference between a successful and unsuccessful induction. As far as speed of labor, no two labors are alike-but some tend to "run in families," talk to your Mother, Sisters etc. My sister and I had very similar experiences.
