>Cytotec is used to induce labor, but in my experience, many women will also need Pitocin (Intravenously) to get a good strong labor pattern going. If you didn't need any Pitocin, my guess is that your body and cervix were ready for the delivery-which truly makes the difference between a successful and unsuccessful induction. As far as speed of labor, no two labors are alike-but some tend to "run in families," talk to your Mother, Sisters etc. My sister and I had very similar experiences. I am so sorry for your loss, and wish you all the best in the future.
