Normally I wouldn't be this concerned about a cold but since I am pregnant, I guess I am being overly cautious. I have had a cold that has been getting progressively worse over the last three days. I have had a cough (which I normally don't get with a cold) and a sore throat. This morning I coughed up what appeared to be a yellowish-tan (about the color of straw)small quantity of sputum. The cough, for the most part, has been nonproductive otherwise. I'm not sure how long to wait it out before I should seek medical advice. Thanks.
