hi dr. montgomery, quick question for you. the midwife i labored with and later studied with had told me she gets very nervous aorund 42 weeks and really doesnt like to have the woman labor and birth at home. she felt that at 42 weeks and over the baby appears to go into distress much mcuh faster wich is why she would prefer a 42 week or longer woman birth in a hospital. i am just curious to know if from you experience you would concur with the statements regarding post date pregnancy and the baby.
