anesthesia during trimester 2From: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 21 Apr 2000 12:02:27 -0500 (CDT)
I have seen two orthopedic surgeons who's physical exams said I have a torn medial meniscus cartilage in my knee. Both suggested arthroscopic surgery, and said a spinal block would have no affect on the baby. Is this true? Also one of the doctors did an MRI and found no evidence of a tear and suggested a cortizone steroid shot to see if that would help, before going ahead with the surgery. What do you think? Any affect on the baby?
