I miscarried last week at about 6 wks., and had a subsequent d & c. I immediately noticed tenderness in the pelvic region, and this continued for the past week. It often presented itself upon urinating, and often showed up at night after laying down. I saw my doc yesterday (one week after procedure) to see if all was normal. She suspected a uterine infection, despite a course of Levaquen. Now I'm on doxycycline and flagel.

My questions: Is my future fertility at stake? Is this an infection, or could it be a purforation? Should I get a 2nd opinion?
