Although Clomid usually improves progesterone levels, the improvement
may not be enough in all women. Also, have you had a progesterone level
and endometrial biopsy to confirm luteal phase defect? Are you seeing a
reproductive endocrinologist?

Another consideration -- have you had a postcoital test since being on
hte Clomid? Clomid is great at inducing ovulation and improving
progesterone levels, but it can adversely affect cervical mucus, which
can impair the sperm's ability to get to the egg. Sometimes
intrauterine inseminations are done to bypass this problem. I'm also
assuming your partner has a normal sperm analysis -- if he has not has
sperm analysis that should be done before you go thru any more clomid
cycles. And are your tubes open?
