Clomid & progesterone useFrom: AMGG (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 18 Apr 2000 23:17:28 -0500 (CDT)
Ever since I've been on Clomid (50 mg for 4 months), my luteal phases have been short--10-11 days. My cycles and luteal phases before Clomid were very long. The nurse is going to give me progesterone injections to help with this. But the first month I was on Clomid, the progesterone levels in my blood turned out fine, indicating good ovulation. So why do I now need to take extra progesterone? Also, since on Clomid I've had a couple days of scant spotting before a "true" menstrual flow. Do I count day 1 as the first day I see any kind of spotting? As always, thank you.
