What about dropping from 165 to 90? Thanks in advance. This is very complicated, and depends on the situation. All babies will demonstrate occasional heart rate drops from the normal range of 120-160 down to 90-100 on occasion, but recurrent drops, or drops that do not recover to the normal range are causes for concern. There are entire books written on this subject, but if you give me a bit more contextual information, perhaps I could be more specific.
