Benadryl is generally considered safe, as much as any medication can be considered safe in pregnancy (see the post above). Ultram is Category C (again, refer to previous post). I truly feel for you. My patients have had similar complaints. I can only give real advice to people I have examined and know ( the rest are suggestions based upon facts provided and general assumptions - not a physician patient relationship). I tell my patients to do the best they can, use the least amount they can and get throught the complaints of the first trimester the best they can. The info is from the PDR but the risk is ultimately theirs.
