Abdominal pain due to fibroids

I am 14 weeks pregnant, and for the past day had a presistant pain in my lower right abdomen. The pain comes and goes in waves. I got scared, went to see the gynocologist who administered and ultra sound and told me that the pain is being caused by two fibroids (5 cm each) in the wall of the uterus and on it. He suggested that I take progesterone suppositories (Utrogestan), an anti-spasmatic Spasfon (phloroglucinol) twice a day.

I am overseas, and my gynocologist is French (so are the drugs he prescribed). I wasn't able to find any information about these drugs. Does any one know what they do, and if they are appropriate to take during the second trimester of pregnancy.

Thank you, Gina
