Are there standards of proceedure for a resident to follow when doing one??? I have called the AHA, the ANA and the AMA to no avail. are the patients left to be victims of incompetent residents or medical students??? I feel violated and very depressed after the 40 minute disimpaction!! She gave me morphine and dug and dug which I am sure was no pleasure for her either. I think she thought she did a great job--meanwhile I was left feeling violated and nightmares that ccontinue to this day three months later
