23 day menstrual cycle--good or bad??

I recently miscaried at 9 weeks. Fetus showed appropriate development and strong heartbeat (180) the previous day. Took progesterone since 6 weeks, progesterone levels rose to 17, but still miscarried.

I've read a lot about luteal phase defect. Since this is my first pg and m/c, I haven't been tested for this. I have a very regular period (and pretty heavy), but it's shorter than a lot of womens', at only 22-24 days. Is this a sign that I have a luteal problem??
