Re: 35 WeeksFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 12 Apr 2000 15:39:10 -0500 (CDT)
Dont know about 35 weeks, but 21 years ago my brotehr was born at 34 weeks weighing 6 lbs and something, was in hospital 2 days and went home, he breathed fine he was perfect, has never had a health prob to this day, me.. i was born 18 years ago at 28 weeks and i stayed in the nicu for 2 weeks then went straight home, i weighed 5.2 the dropped to 4.9, also no steriod shots if they even ahd them abck then, but i am fine, i wasnt expected too however, helicoptor waiting for me to be cut out to rush me to a better hospital, but when i was delivered by c-section i was breathing on my own i did require i vent for a week to help me a little. Then again my son was born at 38 weeks and was 8.12 and he wasnt born breathing but started after they gave him oxygen and made him breathe, at 35 weeks my son was estimated to weigh 7 lbs and 2 oz. lol, the day he was born he was estimated by ultrasound to weigh 8 lb 1 oz. What a ham i had, i guess it depends on the baby, plus technology today i wouldnt worry, This preg i will be induced at 36 weeks and they expect my baby to be fine.
