Re: 35 Weeks

I'm not a doctor, but I've read A LOT about pregnancy, and I have 2 friends with babies born at 35 weeks. Basically, almost every baby born at 35 weeks will do fine. If they are under 5lbs they are more at risk, but the weekly newsletter I get from babycenter.com (I'm 28 weeks but I've read ahead) says that babies born at 35 weeks have a 99% chance of survival without major complications from early birth (the same as term babies). 37 weeks is preferred, because that is what is considered term, but both of the babies I know (now 15 months and 3 years) born at 35 weeks are very healthy. Good luck, Missy
