pregnancy with prolapseFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 6 Apr 2000 09:04:30 -0500 (CDT)
Dear docs It is me the severe straining person again. In order to get all the damage fixed it would require hysterectomy(I prolapsed everything to about a 2). We want two children, and I am very uncomfortable. Thus, we are going to start trying in a month. I have not yet had a menstral cycle (should I be concerned it is now three months?). Thus, I am weening off the nursing and switching to formula to try to jump start ovulation (is that a good idea)? Also, will it be more difficult to concieve with prolapsed vagina, rectum, uterus, bladder and intestine all about a 2. One more question, could I have done any permenant damage to myself since I really think/know that I did this about 6 days postpartum? I really made a mess of myself and I know I did it while straining as I really felt something fall inside of me but did not think much of it at the time. I really am embarrased about this and I think that is why I did not call the doctor right away--I just was very irrational (I now think it was definatley hormones out of wack as my delivery was very tramatic (my baby almost died) Now I (my insides feel awful!!) but my baby is very healthy thank God! thank you in advance
