I am hoping to recieve some feedback from the Drs on DVT. How frequently have you seen DVT happen in bedrested patients? Does it happen so much that Drs would discourage bedrest? I was bedrested for the duration of my pregnancy with up times only for the bathroom and meals. At the time I never heard of DVT but have since read this complication can arise with bedrest. If you have seen it develop in bedrested patients how restrictive were they and did they recover if DVT arose?
