The pocket that you feel in the anterior portion of your vagina is most likely to be a cystocele, while the posterior pocket associated with stool is the rectocele. In addition, you could have an enterocele, a herniation at the top of the vagina which generally contains loops of small bowel.

All of these problems can be fixed with surgery, or managed with other techniques, like pessaries. These are very common problems, most frequently the result of childbirth.
