pain after having stopped the pill : could I be pregnant ?From: anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 3 Apr 2000 11:44:36 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, My husband and I have decided to have a baby, so I stopped taking the pill 20 days ago and I had my period 2 days after, like usual. Since we wanted to wait some months for that baby we had sex without condoms but he just "went out" before ejaculating. We had sex 8 days ago and two days after (and since then) I have been experiencing pains like if I had my periods, but I still didn't have them. And this pain is now located at the right side of my lower abdomen. Could this be the symptoms of a pregnancy ?? I don't have any other pain and I didn't notice anything else strange since these pains have appeared. I'm thinking about buying a pregnancy test but I don't now when my periods are supposed to come so...how can I be sure that if that test turns negative it will not be because I tried it too early ? Please tell me what you think about that...
