Using heartbeat dopplar at home - how safe?

I rented a Baby Beat dopplar so I can listen occasionally to my baby's heartbeat between doctor appointments. I got it mainly to reassure myself now and then since I've had 2 previous miscarriages.

I would like to know how safe they are. Is there any harm in using them? I got it mainly to use every couple weeks, but I wanted to know if there was any harm in using it more frequently? I don't want to do anything that may harm my baby.

Thanks for your help!
