concerning MRI and pregnancy...

Thanks for all the answers to my questions that probably seem very stupid.

I took my son for an xray with my husband last night, and since i am pregnant(maybe 2-4 weeks) LMP was feb 28, and HPT showed positive on monday. Anyway i didnt go in with him my husband did, but while waiting i read that MRI is not for everyone, some reasons for not having it done was pacemaker, body piercing, and also if you are pregnant.

I was told that an MRI wouldnt hurt a pregnancy, my son has one scheduled tuesday and i want to be with him hes only 10 mos old, will this harm the pregnancy and developing baby? even if im just in the same room beside him?

thanks. michelle
