If there is absolutely no fluid there are bound to be more problems. Since fluid cushions the baby's face, no fluid will allow the face to bve compressed against the uterine wall causing what is called a Potter's facies - a distorted face. Also, lack of fluid can affect the development of the lungs, intestines and urinary system.
