I am 11 weeks pregnant and this morning, I nearly fainted a couple of times. This also happened several weeks ago. I mentioned this to the nurse practitioner (whom I saw instead of my doctor--not my choice) at my last appointment two weeks ago. She seemed to indicate that it was no big deal and that it had probably happened because I was "one iron pill short of anemia." Now that it has happened again this morning, I am more concerned. I don't like the idea of being home alone and passing out or passing out in front of my five-year-old. I don't feel like I can call the doctor's office about this, especially since the nurse practitioner dismissed it so easily. I haven't felt faint in several hours, but I do have a residual headache. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do? Thanks.
