epiduralFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 27 Mar 2000 04:39:02 -0600 (CST)
Dear docs I am just curious--At what point can they adiminister the epidural. I ask because when i was 4 centimeters, the baby went into distress, and they were going to give me an epidural and probably c/s. I was very scared of the needle and refused (ended up taking it later on) the epidural. The vaginal delivery was a nightmare! I now blame myself for not accepting the epidural at 4 centimeters because I feel that then a c/s would have been the only option. If it was administered at 4 cm, could the docs still have had me deliver vaginally?
