OK 1st off, yes VBAC dose put you at higher risk. However, assuming :) you have a good OB provider, you will be monitored during labor and delivery, just as if you had vaginal delivery. I certainly can understand your fear. Most people would rather share all the terrible things that have happened or COULD happen. In my experience of working with families in labor and delivery, I have had the pleasure of attending many VBAC's. It can be done, and it can be safe! Stop reading all the "scary" stuff, listen to your OB providers advice, and relax and prepare for a beautiful new addition to your house, be it by vaginal or C/S
