Where I practice, stress in previous labor is not an acceptable reason to do an elective C/S.

The risks of any surgery include death, infection and hemorrhage. I tell this to all pre-operative patients, regardless of the type of surgery. The risks of these serious complications are infrequent (except for infections of the bladder that is) but you must be aware.

General anesthesia (GA) is between you and the doctor. The risks associated with GA are not common in young patients but must also be discussed.

No disrespect meant and I don't know the circumstances of your delivery, but would therapy be an option to help you? Just a thought from a concerned individual.
