I am 33 and trying to conceive. My husbands uncle (his mothers brother) has Downs Syndrome and his mothers sisters daughter has epilepsy and is 'slow' (my apologies for not knowing exactly what her problems are called). Are these conditions passed on and what are the statistical chances of my baby having these problems?
