to Dr. Sengupta and all other responses are welcome! From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 14 Mar 2000 05:30:24 -0600 (CST)
Dear Doctors A couple weeks ago I asked about suturing my uterus up and whether it would hold im pregnancy. YOur response was it depended on the type of corrective surgery, labor, c/s or vaginal. I am planning a c-section. My question to you is what type of corrective surgery is there to suture up the uterus and which has the best chance to hold up during pregnany and possibly after. Please list the different techniuqes and options. Thank you so much as I know I only have a 1-2 prolapse, but I am very uncomfortable and I am only 29. This has become a quality of life issue in that I am no longer able to run, jog, hike ect. Please help as I am desperate for options to bring in to my ob doc. the use of a pessary is definatly out for me. Thanks in advance!
