saving the uterus after prolapseFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 13 Mar 2000 05:52:55 -0600 (CST)
Dear doctors, While searching the web, I found a doctor (toaff?) in philidelphia who says he is able to save the uterus for a prolapse even severe. He says that he is one of a few who knows how to perform this technique. He does not use any synthetic material and I did speak with a few patients of his who were happy. I think he said he uses facia and muscle from our body to hold it up. My question is are any of you familiar with this and what is the long term success rate?
