Hi, i have read alot of dr marchbeins opinions to other peoples posts and i feel he knows what hes talking about. not that nobody else does but i have only read his the most.

my question... husband and i are TTC baby #2, but, with our 1st baby, at 35 weeks i was having alot of problems with my heart beating very fat, i saw cardipogist and after many tests, diagnosed with S.V.T. i was also given a drug called Atenolol 25mg, and had nst's every 3 days to watch babys heart rate. this drug was suppose to lower my heart rate but was also lowering the fetal HR. SO, at 38 weeks i was induced and the baby had low heart rate and low blood sugar but over all came out fine.

with another pregnancy coming on hopefully soon, do you think that i will ( i stopped the atenolol 3 weeks postpartum) so i think it was the pregnancy causing it but drs said it was hereditary, im wondering if this problem will start to occur sooner then the last time and i will have to take the meds sooner, and if they will harm the fetus by taking them earlier in preg?

#2 ques... how long after conception wil HCG show up in a urine test?

#3 ques... are 2nd babies heavier then first babies? thats what i have heard alot. my first was 8 lb 12 oz at 38 weeks!! imagine if i carried to 40 weeks, what a pig he would have been. thanks for listening, and any opinions are of great help, sorry so long!
