I had an ultrasound on 3/1 and my sac measured 5 weeks. The sonographer could not see a yolk sac or anything else in there, which I guess is normal for 5 weeks. But they did tell me that my gestational sac was "irregular" - I guess the borders of it were not as clear as they would like and it wasn't round. I have a printout of the picture and it looks exactly like every other picture I have seen on the web of a 5 week pregnancy. It is oval, not round. The sonographer told me that I would probably miscarry and I am beside myself. Please, is it possible that there was a mistake?
