Chilbirth truth vs tales? 1st of all yes it is hard, yes it hurts. BUT..... You will make it! Each labor and birth experience is uniquely different, even for the same person. Each of my 2 labor and deliveries were totally different. Yes it is hard, but it is also one of the most awesome and amazing thing to feel that baby come out and be placed in your waiting arms. No book, no other person can tell you what it feels like, you may have an "easy" labor, or a more difficult time. I highly suggest you ask your medical provider about birth preparation classes. I also would like you to feel free to email me if I can help you any more
