hi. i happen to be an advocate of naturalchildbirth, altho i had a c-sec with my son. my labor it self wasnt painful - tho since i didnt push him out i didnt go thru it all. it was simply exhausting. your body is working hard throughout labor. the best advice i can give is READ READ REAd. educate yoruself as much as possible. learn to listen to what your body says. if it syas walk then walk. if it says lay down then lay down. there re lots and lots of books out there. read every one you can get your hands on especially anything by bradley, simpkin, gaskin and kitszinger. by the way, i heard kitszinger had a new book out does anyone know the title or has anyone read it??????
