1st off, it is not unusual to have occasional contractions. 2nd off, if it occurs the best thing to do: lie on your left side, drink at least 3-5 glasses (big) of water. Many times these crazy contractions are because of dehydration. While lying down and drinking liquids, time contractions. If after an hour you are still having them, go to MD. Also, if you have bleeding, or fluid leakage, go to MD.
