The current method of removing a septum from the uterus is to remove it using a hysteroscope (a telescope-like instrument) as a resectoscope which can cut away the septum by going through the cervix to the uterus. The results are quite good. Her history indicates that the septum may be the cause of the losses and pre-term delivery.
