2nd D&C

Hi -- Here's a shortened version of my history: miscarriage & d&c on 10-30-99. During a routine thryoid panel, a preg test was drawn since I hadn't started my period. It came back positive (even though a few days after the test I started my period. A Bhcg levels was drawn on 1-4-00 was 12. Continued to follow Bhcg every 1-2 weeks until the level was 39. I had another period during this time and was experiencing no other signs/symptoms. My Dr. wasn't exactly sure what was going on and decided to do another d&c on 2-15. The path report came back showing immature villi. So, the dr. figures I got pregnant soon after the 1st d&c and it just wasn't viable. After the d&c I had a small amount of cramping and spotted a small amount for a day. On 2-22 I started spotting again along with some cramping. On 2-24 I saw the dr. for a post d&c check-up (I'm still cramping and spotting on & off). He said spotting and cramping are normal for 2 weeks after a d&c. Is this normal to feel bloated and to start cramping and spotting after a week of not having these symptoms? How long before I begin to feel "normal" again? (We're currently awaiting the results of the post d&c Bhcg). Could something else be going on here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
