i know that i was tested for hiv with my pregnancy eight years ago
without my specific knowledge. i only knew that i had been tested after
looking at my bill and seeing the charge for this test on it. to be
honest i do not recall signing anything, but it is possible i did. my
first appointment with my ob was a rather frightening experience due to
the way he reacted to my being prescribed a drug, before my period was
even late. he gave me virtually no info and referred me to a
specialist. it scared the crap out of me. fortunately, all turned out
well.
