Tammy, I am so sorry for what you are going through. I had that happen to me a little over a year ago. I had to wait about two weeks to miscarry after the doctor discovered I had a blighted ovum (i.e., empty sac, never any heartbeat). When I finally passed the tissue mass, it took about 15 minutes to a half hour. It really was not that much worse than bad cramping from a period . . . not painful enough to cry--just some moaning. You'll get through it. You may consider, if you haven't already, taking the tissue to the doctor for analysis. If you take it in right away, he or she might be able to determine the cause of the repeated miscarriages.

My heart goes out to you. Hang in there. -Alicia
