I had an ectopic pregnancy diagnosed 2 weeks ago with high-resolution ultrasound and was treated with methotrexate. I cramped for 3 days and bled for a week, but the HCG levels on days 4 and 7 dropped by 30%, so my ob said treatment was effective. Now I am out of town and I have started severe cramping this morning and am bleeding again- bright red blood. Should I be concerned or am I just trying to pass some tissue, as happened with a previous miscarriage?
