Really? This woman reports she started her pregnancy at 104 pounds at 5 feet 8 inches? That is severely underweight by my estimation. In fact, that puts her at a body mass index of under 16--most charts list anything below 18.5 as underweight.

While a 70 pound weight gain might not be optimal for all women, it certainly seems reasonable given her low weight to start.
