I found out that I was pregnant in early Dec 99 and I miscarried over the holidays, right before Christmas. I was 7 or 8 weeks along. My doctor said that we shouldn't have any trouble getting pregnant again but she said to go through at least 1 cycle before getting pregnant again. I didn't have a D&C. Well, I did not have a period in January. I am afraid that if I am pregnant (only 2 chances of this) that I am going to have problems since I didn't have a period the month after I miscarried. Is it normal to skip a period after a miscarriage? I am kind of scared to take one of those tests -- I will probably call my doctor in a week or so if I don't start. Is there any words of wisdom out there? I just want as much information that I can get.
