Jennifer:

I stopped taking bc pills in late April 99 and had some-what(not 28 days!!!) regular periods. It wasn't until I bought the TCOYF book that I started charting. I realized I wasn't ovulating. I always thought if I get my period I must be ovulating but I wasn't. My doc aggreed to see me in Jan. instead of waiting the usual year. He didn't need 6 months of charts. I ovulated in Nov. (for the first time since going off the pill) and got pregnant!! Thanks to the charts I knew exactly when I ovulated.

I know I took my temp everyday and everyday I tried to analyze the chart. It's hard not to. Really though, it's best to look back over a cycle at a time to see a pattern - or lack thereof. Don't get discouraged. Even if your charts don't show ovulation, you're one step ahead because you can provide valuable info for your ob.

GOOD LUCK!
