Re: Delayed Ovulation?From: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 30 Jan 2000 11:45:11 -0600 (CST)
Thanks for the prompt reply. I am new to charting--I only have two charts. I am 29, have a 4-year-old son and have been off birth control since Sept. 1999. The provera was given to induce the period. This morning I took my temp and it was up 3 tenths over the previous six days. I understand I need to draw the coverline at this point. I now have another question--can it take 5 days for a temperature rise after the peak day has come and gone? My peak day was on day 14 and today is day 19. If it possible for the temps to take longer to react to ovulation, what could cause this? Thanks again for your response.
