Neurotin, or gabapentin, has not been well studied in humans. There are only 2 reports describing use during pregnancy in which birth defects were noted; in these cases, other medications were used as well.No other cases have been reported to the FDA. There were little adverese effects noted in studies on rats and mice.

Because there is so little data, it is impossible to say whether Neurotin is safe to use during pregnancy. Idealy you would not be on it while attemping to conceive or during pregnancy.
