sad and confusing experienceFrom: Jodi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 27 Jan 2000 11:19:14 -0600 (CST)
I had a tubal reversal in July and have been trying to conceive since September. In December I had ovulatory spotting but did get my period on January 8th. On cycle day 11 I again had ovulatory spotting (I thought) and a positive OPK. So, we didn't worry about it. After two days of increasing spotting I contacted doc who told me not to worry about midcycle spotting. But by the fourth day I woke up with bright red, heavy bleeding. Went to the ER, told I was pg (after blood test) and had hcg of 96. They told me to go home and wait it out. There was a possibility I wouldn't miscarry...50/50. They redid the bloods on Tuesday and my hcg was 46 so I did miscarry. So, the weird thing is they say I was 4 weeks pg. according to the hcg levels. So why a positive OPK then? Now, the other weird thing is yesterday no bleeding whatsoever. Today, drop in temp, high cervical position and egg white cervical mucus. What should I do and what is going on with my body!!
