Thanks! The opinion of your Hematologist is going to be the most useful regarding this, but those values do not sound all that abnormal to me. In my hospital, the normal range for the percentage of white blood cells that are neutrophils is 37%-80%, so 77% is within normal limits (WNL). The normals for the lymphocyte count are from 20-50%, so that is not that far off either. It would appear that the theats that your immune system has faced lately are largely bacterial rather than viral, which is why your system is more geared to fight off bacteria at the time of this CBC. I sincerly doubt that this is at all serious, but if you are concerned (and obviously you are), then call your hematologist and get his/her opinion.
