My first thought was that the thermometer was reading in Celcius instead of Farenheit. But I looked at my Celcius/Farenheit conversion chart and 34 is less than 94 degrees F. There must be something wrong with the thermometer. Sounds like she should return it.

FYI - It doesn't matter if you use a digital or regular thermometer as long as you use the same one each day.
